Robert W. Woodruff Library Preservation Lab Portfolio

This portfolio includes a small book that is hand-bound with sewn binding, two pamphlets showcasing sewn binding and stapled binding, examples of overlap and tissue mends within the pamphlets, an encapsulation of a pressed flower using 3mm mylar sealed with an ultrasonic welder, and a tissue spine replacement on a book that has been removed from the library's collection. The spine replacement, pamphlets, and encapsulation are housed in a covered portfolio box, and the bound book is housed in a wrapper. All items are contained in a double-tray box.
